Heine is a customer consultant and works in SEAS-NVE’s customer centre in Svinninge. The employees in the customer centre are the customers’ primary contact at SEAS-NVE, and each day, they receive many e-mails and phone calls from customers from all parts of the country who have questions for their electricity company.
When Heine started in SEAS-NVE, he was a bit prejudiced about what it would be like to work in a customer centre.
- I probably was a bit prejudiced that a customer centre would be a place with little focus on the employees, and instead a focus on pushy sales methods towards the customers.
However, it quickly turned out that this prejudice did not fit the customer centre at SEAS-NVE.
We do a lot to help our customers, and it is fantastic to be able to talk to such a broad range of customers. You really experience some funny things, and many of the customers really like if you can jest a bit and give them a good experience. We are here to help them, and hopefully this is clear from the way in which we do our work.
To Heine, the working environment and the atmosphere between the colleagues really mean a lot.
- This is the best place I have ever worked. People are not afraid to show themselves and are extremely good at helping each other at work. Not only when it comes to professional discussion and feedback, but also on a personal level. And that means a lot – it means that I go to work happy and enjoy being here.
Heine believes that the good atmosphere between the colleagues is also expressed in the way the customers are met.
- We really want to help, and we will go out of our way to help the customers. Of course, there are some limits and rules we must follow, but we do a lot to be able to treat everyone fairly and equally.
