SEAS-NVE is cooperatively owned – 393,229 members each own a share of our common energy and fibre-optic group.
In 1912 and in 1913 the two energy companies SEAS and NVE were established, and in 2004 the companies decided to enter into a merger. The energy company SEAS-NVE was a reality. Today, we are Denmark’s largest cooperatively-owned energy and fibre-optic group.
We create energy to live life. We want to turn energy into more than just a delivery. We want to be your best connection when it comes to green transition and digitalization. We work for you when offering high speed internet and ensuring power availability at any time as well as street lighting. We aim at creating value for you by storing energy from wind turbines and provide energy efficient solutions for everyday life.
Through the electricity grid company Cerius A/S, which until the end of 2017 was named SEAS-NVE Net A/S, we own and service the geographically longest electricity grid in Denmark.
We want to make a marked difference to our 560,000 energy customers and 118,000 fibre customers – comprising private consumers, businesses and public-sector customers. Therefore, we deliver products at competitive prices, which bring value to everyday life.
We have a say in the North-European energy market through our ownership in Energi Danmark A/S and Ørsted A/S.
We pave the way for electric cars and a better climate through our investment in Denmark’s leading electric mobility operator CLEVER, and we produce renewable energy with our offshore windfarm Rødsand 2. Through our ownership in Fibia P/S, we pursue the objective of rolling out fibre-optic broadband and ultra-fast internet with a focus on our region.
With green investments, we work determinedly at promoting a sustainable and digital future. Together. For the benefit of our cooperative members and customers.
